FiveM Ped Menu Script for QBCore, Qbox & ESX

Ped models let players appear as characters that a freemode ped cannot represent: an animal companion, a mascot, a donor reward, a story character for an event. Without a proper ped menu, every change goes through staff with a console command, and nobody remembers who was allowed which model.

This guide covers what to expect from a FiveM ped menu script on QBCore, Qbox and ESX, how the free Rarx Pedmenu handles each point, what it needs installed and the questions owners ask before adding it.

Buyer's checklist

What a good FiveM ped menu script should do

Use these points to compare ped menu resources, including ours.

  1. Staff decide, players choose

Admins assign which ped models each character may use, and the player then switches between them alone. Rarx Pedmenu shows each player only the peds assigned to them.

  2. Assign to anyone, online or not

Staff should be able to pick an online player or look up a citizen ID that already has peds, give each ped a friendly name, rename it or swap its model in place, and remove it with a confirmation step.

  3. Changes everyone sees

A model change has to be synced to every player immediately. With Rarx Clothing running, the stored appearance is applied again after switching back.

  4. Permissions that match your staff

Admin and moderator groups in the config, with ACE permissions that can be enabled alongside them.

  5. A record of every change

Webhook logs with a separate URL, colour and switch for select, add, remove and edit actions show who gave which ped to whom.

  6. No dependency on generic menus

The interface is its own NUI with configurable colours and does not depend on qb-menu, qb-input or the ox_lib menu, in nine languages.

Rarx Pedmenu

Rarx Pedmenu gives every player a personal ped library managed by your staff. Players run /peds to open their selector; if only one ped is assigned it is applied directly. Admins work from a panel with three tabs: their own peds, every player with peds, and management. Assignments are stored in a single table through oxmysql.

Key features

  • Admin assignment. Assign, edit and remove peds for online or offline players from one panel.
  • Personal ped library. Players see only the peds assigned to their character and switch with one click.
  • Webhook logs. Separate webhook URLs and colors for select, add, remove and edit actions.
  • 9 languages. Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.

Planning

Planning ped access on your server

Write down who may receive a ped and why before you hand out the first one, because players compare. Common patterns are staff-assigned peds for events and story characters, and rewards for specific roles. The admin panel shows every player with at least one ped, which makes periodic reviews easy.

Turn on the webhook logs from the start. A separate channel for select, add, remove and edit actions means you can answer later who gave a model to whom. If you run Rarx Clothing, players also keep their stored appearance when they switch back from a ped, which removes one of the most common support tickets.
