Why ESX for jobs

Standard framework job integration

Jobs plug into `qb-core` job tables, ESX job / grade tables, or `qbx_core` shared jobs. No custom job system to wrangle — the framework's boss menus, whitelist commands, and paycheque schedule all just work.

Configurable payouts + progression

Payouts, XP curves, and rank thresholds live in `Config.Payouts` / `Config.Ranks`. Rebalance for your economy without editing the source.

ESX Legacy first-class support

Configs assume the Legacy shared object convention and never rely on deprecated `ESX = nil` patterns. If a script also targets classic ESX 1.2, the product page and changelog say so explicitly — no guesswork.

Multiple inventory backends

Inventory-touching resources detect ESX's inventory system at boot: `esx_inventoryhud`, `qs-inventory`, `mf-inventory`, or `ox_inventory` are all supported without patching the Lua. Config flags override the auto-detect when needed.

ESX Jobs FAQ

Do these scripts work with ESX Legacy?+

Yes — ESX Legacy is the default target for every listing. Classic ESX 1.2 compatibility is documented per product when available.

Which inventory system do ESX scripts here support?+

By default we detect the running inventory at boot: `esx_inventoryhud`, `qs-inventory`, `mf-inventory`, and `ox_inventory` are all supported. You can force-select via `Config.Inventory` in most resources.

Are these jobs compatible with QBCore, ESX, and QBox?+

Cross-framework support is per-product. `[QBCore/ESX]` tagged jobs work on both. Pure-framework jobs run on the sibling framework via the qbx / esx-legacy bridge with cosmetic changes only.

How do I add a new job to my server?+

After purchase, drop the resource folder into `resources/[jobs]/`, add `ensure <resource-name>` to `server.cfg`, then add the new job entry to your framework's shared jobs table (or run the SQL from the product docs).

Do these jobs scripts work on ESX?+

Yes. Every jobs listed on this page has been tested against the latest ESX release. All job scripts integrate with standard QBCore / ESX / QBox job tables and ship with configurable payouts, progression, and boss menus where relevant.
